Quality Manufacturing

The ability to create a replacement part that performs to OEM specs but can last longer with improved service qualities rest in the manufacturing processes. Electronic fuel injectors can be comprised of fifteen precisely manufactured components.

The moveable armature is attached to the nozzle valve which is pressed against the nozzle body sealing seat by a helical spring. At the back of the valve body is the solenoid winding, and in the front section is the guide for the nozzle valve. Injectors are sealed at the fuel rail and the intake manifold by ‘O’ rings.  A filter screen is used at the inlet of the injector to keep foreign particles out of the injector body.

Manufacturing Process

Injector Body - The body of the injector houses all of the internal components so, the external and internal dimensions must be maintained to within a thousandth of an inch. Automated computer controlled robots and mills are used to cut, measure, and test each part as it is processed.

The automated system places each part into specially designed holding fixtures that protect each piece from damage as well as maintaining the correct inventory count.
